These Terms & Conditions outline the policies that apply to the purchase of Horácio 1945 ovens, accessories and related products. By placing an order with us, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms.

Quality & Craftsmanship

Every Horácio 1945 oven is individually handcrafted using traditional methods and carefully inspected before leaving production.

Because each oven is made by hand rather than mass-produced, slight variations in dimensions, finishes and appearance are part of the character of the product. These natural variations are not defects but reflect the authenticity of artisan craftsmanship.

Understanding Your Wood-Fired Oven

A wood-fired oven experiences temperature changes every time it is used. During heating and cooling, the refractory materials naturally expand and contract.

As a result, fine hairline cracks may develop over time.

These are a normal characteristic of traditional wood-fired ovens and are expected throughout the life of the product. They do not affect structural integrity, cooking performance or the longevity of the oven.

Each oven comes with a touch up kit for if you choose to cosmetically fill visible surface cracks. Reach out to our team for any assistance, we’re here to help.

To minimise unnecessary cracking allow the refractory materials to stabilise correctly, the initial curing process must be completed exactly as described in the instruction manual supplied with your oven. When using your oven take your time to heat the oven and allow to cool naturally.
